2 days in Seville: a day-by-day itinerary

Updated October 4, 2026

Seville packs its great sights into a small, walkable centre. In two days you can climb the Giralda, wander the palace gardens of the Alcázar and watch the sunset from the top of Las Setas — as long as you plan around the heat.

Good to know

  • Book the Alcázar and the cathedral online; the queues can be long at any time of year.
  • From June to September afternoons often pass 40 °C — sightsee in the morning and evening, rest after lunch.
  • The centre is best on foot; the tram and bus cover longer distances.
  • Spring brings Holy Week and the April Fair: unforgettable, but book months in advance.

Two full days cover the main monuments. Add a third to see Triana, a flamenco show or a day trip to Córdoba.

What is the best time to visit Seville?

March to May and October to November, when it is warm but not too hot.

Where should I stay?

Santa Cruz and the area around the cathedral keep everything within walking distance.
